Great chorus!
Yea, I like drum and bass beats. I like that part about small fish running from big fish. I think the song would be more effective if the verse started immediately after the intro, with no instrumental break in between. However, I realize writing a conventional pop song isn't normally a high priority in this genre. This is more of something to trip out and dance to. If that's the case, then more power to you. The song is a good dance track, anyway. The only thing that really irritates me is that effect on the vocals in the beginning. I don't know why. I usually like effects like that, but in this case, I'm not feeling it. I still like the song.

Craig David the Second.
I'm thinking Craig David straight away. Perhaps not quite his vocal distinctiveness, but not bad. It's a good attempt at the Craig David genre of music. I like the guitar melody and chords. At 1 minute I like the Chorus shift and vocal melody. Good effort. Lyrics are good in general - positive

Great vocal. Great beats. Great tune.
Great intro - the vocal is fantastic in both performance and tonal quality.

The just-laid-back beats and subtle bass line do exactly what they need to be doing - complementing the vocal and keeping the thing moving along - which it does effortlessly.

Some nice metallic pads add a lot of depth and the vocal cuts through without problems.

The arrangement is good, with sounds left out until later in the track which again keeps the song going, keeps it interesting and ensured I kept listening right to the end.

Extra Credit: Male Vocals.

Welcome Justin...
This song sounds a little bit like one of Justin Timberlake. Don't know if I should like it or not. It's a matter of taste. The performance is great. Same is the production as a whole. The melody is not really unique as I have the feeling that I have heard similar before.

Nice.
Nice to hear a production here today where the singer is not buried. You sound great and at 50 seconds I'm still with you. Ah, a real chorus today! Ok, I'm sold. You are kicking ass vocally and song-wise.

Groovy
Real nice intro to the song. the bass and drums really pump this song well. The horns sound nice as well, but I think I would like them up further in the mix. In terms of the vocals, I like the male singer's voice more than the female's. I guess that's opinion though. The song is real nice though. i like the funky feel throughout. The hiphop portion in the middle works well in the song.

Tastes....
At first I could hear many different artistic influences, some R&B, some pop, some rap. After hearing the whole piece, I realized why it was put under pop. The production is great, considering how much of the song is sequenced. A very talented vocalist, and tasteful improvising. A pleasure to listen to.

yeah right into
i like the rnb intro,
this guy is a good singer.
i like the composition too because it grooves and has a lot of space there for the vocals to tell their story.
the ch... people passing by my window is a clever change of feel and mood for the chorus.
i hope you sound this good live because if you do then you'll be totally rockin.

Excellent summertime driving song
Interesting sound patch at the beginning -- almost like a synthesized banjo...I like it. Nice, funky, laid-back cool acid jazz feel. Great horns -- well-balanced. Lead male singer had a really good voice. The alto player gave a solid solo, but somewhat restrained. Great track!
